wooly times

I recently finished the quick-to-make, chunky scarf seen in progress above and next on the wooly to-do-list I would like to make a tea cosy perhaps like this one posted on Pip's Brown Owl blog, and some pot holders like these. I don't know about you but there's something about the colder weather that makes me want to knit/crochet any spare minutes away! Although in my case it could be hereditary, my mum is always making something wooly! Speaking of my mum, while on the Brown Owl Member's blog recently I also spotted this post from Brissy BO mum Sandra which reminded me of something I got my mum to make quite a few years back...

...thanks Mum, I still have this bag and now that I know how to crochet I know how much effort you put in.

And while of the topic of Brown Owls, I'm off to a meeting tonight to check out some Gocco printing - should be fun!

I brought wool recently for a scarf that is pretty much the same colour. I'm still undecided on the kind of scarf I am going to make, but I like your chunky one.

I have a gocco printer. Can't wait to see what you make. :)
