childhood treasures - part V

Oh the nostalgia!! At some stage during my childhood each one of these was a favourite. And they don't look half bad. I do remember being quite attached to them, like treasured little companions. I guess I tried to take care of them as best I could. There was evidence of an ink mark here and there however — always the chronic doodler!

what a gorgeous bunch of love.
And don't you love the warm happy simple feeling that spreads over you when you rediscover some of your old friends ? xo

More toys that I had when I was little! Looks like we were living parallel lives on opposite sides of the planet :)

That's so precious that you still have them all. I used to have a Mon Chi Chi doll that I used to take everywhere. Once it fell down a monkey gym at the playground and ended up with a hole in its head. Even though you could not really see it, I was so sad!

Oh! Strawberry Shortcake! I did find my one of this in mum and dad's wardrobe - not as well kept as yours mind you - and she still had her lovely strawberry scent!
