Also instead of baking on the weekend (as mentioned in the post below) I embroidering 16 sets of eyebrows, 42 eyeballs and 5 pairs of glasses! While doing so I revisited some of the fantastic short videos from here. I am now dreaming of creating puppets. Anyone know somewhere in Melbourne that does so?

Puppetry is a good direction for you.
Whilst growing up I was lucky enough to see Phillippe Genty puppet shows when they were in town. One of my best experiences. Between that and Jim Henson's Workshop I seriously wanted to be a puppet maker when I was a kid.
I can so see you doing puppets, Evie! Loving those works in progress... actually, also loving them as a fabric design just the way they are :) Kx
Evie, love these embroidered faces!!
happy sunday!!
xx
Great process pics - I do job lots too - very practical! Good luck with the puppets too - you'd be great with that :)
really love your eyeball sampler!
They look beautiful! I too would love to see your puppets. I don't know of anyone in Melb who makes them, but the Nicholas Building is having its open day today and tomorrow and you never know....?
