colourful delight

When I spotted these Super Easy Baby Blankets via, Melbourne Vintage I didn't realise straight away that they were in fact baby blankets. Upon finding this out I was initially disappointed. Drats! They don't come in my size. Then I thought — what a wonderful surprise. The happy, bright colour combinations aren't the usual safe, soft pastel colours associated with baby items. I could certainly see these fitting in at our house. Not that there is a baby on the way... just in case you were wondering!

Really love the colour combos...no sickly sweet baby tones in sight. Hurrah!

Have a wonderful weekend

These are lovely and I'm sure you could make one in your size! Or even as a happy throw for the couch. I'll bet they feel wonderful and soft too.

They are gorgeous colours!! Much more exciting and stimulating for a baby than boring old pastel blue or pink, lol.

Hello Evie! After I read the quote above I was going to post "beautiful!" underneath, then when I came to this post I wanted to write the same, but I was too busy drooling. These blankets are delicious. I can imagine taking all nine of the ones in the last picture and sewing together a super sized double cuddle up blanket. You could fit a whole family under it! ;)
