Have you heard of Project Patchwork? Yes. No? Well you might like to check it out because these are no ordinary patchworks!
Project Patchwork is in its third year and is a collaborative, quilt project involving lots of cleaver people helping to raise money for those touched by cancer. You can read a little more about its inspiration over here.
This years project features one super special quilt, made by the hands of 27 crafty people including, Amy Borrell, Luci Everett (pictured above), Dell Stewart, Cat Rabbit (pictured above), the three cleaver ladies from Ortolan (Kat Macleod's pictured above) and some of the lovely ladies from Craft Victoria just to name a few. To see more of these fabulous squares head over here.
I would like to say a very special thanks to the lovely Lizzy for letting me share these pics and write about this special project. Thanks Lizzy!!
Do you know Lizzy? She is somewhat of a superstar me thinks! There doesn't seem to be anything this self confessed 'graphic designer in training' can't do. She works along side the ladies at Ortolan, has her own blog, plays a huge role in Project Patchwork and was recently a guest blogger over on The Design Files. Wowzers!
