stuck on you

I love receiving mail. A little delusional perhaps, I call most of the exciting items to arrive via post these days 'gifts'. My boy likes to remind me they are actually called purchases. Anywho, one such gift arrived this weekend with this great selection of stamps. I wonder if the shipper put these on or it was the work of the postal staff? Either way it made receiving this parcel all the more fun!

Oh my! I think that's the best selection of stamps I've ever seen on a package! x

I like to think of them as 'gifts' as well and get so excited when anything (other than a bill) arrives in the mail. Usually they have unfriendly black and white electronic stamps on them - your stamps are much better!

heeheehee I do the exact same thing. You 'win' stuff on ebay, not buy it, right?! This selection of stamps is tip top! I always get a little disappointed by the stamps Australia Post has on offer, there are rarely ever any good ones. I often hope that the recipient of my mail doesn't hold an ugly stamp against me! P.S If i didn't already say thank you for my kreative blog award, then thanks. So forgetful these days!
Hope all is well with you family xx

I think to that it was the work of a creative postal worker. I also like Sara's idea that you "win" stuff on ebay. I'm trying to convience my husband that I am "donating" money to the credit card company so they don't get hit by the economic downturn.

I laughed so loud when I read the gift theory. I think I do that too! I read it out to PB and he was in stitches too. It all rings a little too true. x Ps. Beautiful stamps

I call all my ebay purchases presents... as I tend to forget I've bought them because they arrive so randomly. Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks that way! ;)

Nothing wrong with buying oneself gifts I say. Washed the dishes? Walked to work? Didn't eat any of that cake? Well, they all deserve gifts.

Love the stamps too. :)

Such lovely stamps! Whenever I get a foreign package or letter I get all excited about the stamps! :) I have a collection of cut out stamps from all over the world!

I LOVE getting mail too, but Australia post must be angry with me cause I'm only getting bills. The snoopy stamp is adorable!

Soooo funny - gifts yes, not purchases. It's like when you haven't had a parking fine for a long time it means you've actually 'earned' money to spend!
