crochet inspiration

Monday evening I went to Brown Owl’s crochet night which was lovely and chatty, not to mention full of tea and biscuits! And boy are there some talented ladies out there. This lady in particular bought along some super projects to show. Thanks Lara, very inspiring!

I kind of learnt the Grannie Square last year at Brown Owl’s but hadn’t really practiced so I was a bit rusty on this classic little number. With help from the always friendly Owlette’s it soon came flooding back! ‘Like riding a bike’ a Wise Owl said. So true.
