I heard Spike Jonze was involved some time ago but these were the first stills I'd seen. More stills to view on the fan site here. Following my initial excitement I also found a this little clip.

It is still a Spike Jonze film. I know this because an acquaintance on mine, on account of being freakishly huge, is the guy inside one of those creature outfits. All he's telling me is that he's the biggest one.
