Thanks for staying tuned! My exciting news (mentioned in the below post) involves having spent time over the weekend doing a little preparation for a one day workshop I am hosting. I'm so excited to be doing this and more than a little nervous too! My first workshop. With children. Will they sense my fear? And can I block that fear with a barrier of bluffing confidence? One thing is for sure, I can not wait to see what they create!
During the workshop — Think it, Draw it, Stitch it! — students will design and create a character drawing of their own of which will then be turn into their very own handmade soft toy. The workshop, being held at Harvest Workroom is part of Design Depot, a four day series for young artists aged 9-16 during the Easter school holiday period. The other three days will be hosted by colour loving Emily Green, paper animating Dell Stewart and the screen-printing wizards from Harvest Textiles. You can read more about it here. And I'll keep you posted as the event unfolds.

Oh, and hi. Sorry I have been a stranger for over a year, which in internet time is more like a bazillion!
Don't worry, you're skilled and qualified and, most especially, love what you do. Kids can sense that! :)
