who can it be now...

Ok, following on from yesterday's post here is the completed, little, softie doll you saw a peek of. A mini-me of someone I made as part of an Artist Exchange I was invited to take part in by the lovely Cecilia.

Can you guess who it might be? She is a blogger. Her blog is lovely. She lives far away from Melbourne, Australia (where I live).

She likes to wear pearls.

And perhaps Wrist Worms too...

If you guessed
this lady, you are indeed correct! Well done.

She is super talented, takes amazing photos and makes fun crocheted
characters who never fail to make me smile.

I hope Sandra likes her mini-me softie. Is it creepy that I made a mini-me of someone I've never meet? I'm not sure. I hope Sandra doesn't think so.
She was fun to make!

P.S. I now have this song stuck in my head after typing the title for this post. Perhaps those of you who grew up in Australia in the 80's do now too. If so I'm sorry. Happy Friday! : )

“Who can it be knocking at my door? Go away. Don't come round here no more. I like it here with my childhood friend…”
This is one of my all time fave songs from the 80s. Men At Work rocked.

The doll is gorgeous. And I snuck a peak at the original. The likeness is uncanny.

Oh and Oz music from the 80's -those were the days!!They just don't make music like that any more. sigh.

oh but it's adorable! You are super talented indeed. I'm sure she'll love it. Thanks for the heads up too, I had not discovered Sandra before and I shall add her to my (growing) list of things I love about Sweden. My partner is Swedish but he's not very crafty!
