After yesterday's trip I decided to make some cookies as a little gift for a friend I'm visiting today.
With the special Handmade Help Recipe Book having arrived in last weeks post I thought I'd give something new a try. While flicking through it's pages I came across a recipe titled, 'Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever'. Great! How could I go wrong?
A little while later I noticed this recipe had been contributed by lovely blogger, Becka from Bliss in a Teacup. As soon as I realised this I knew I was on to a good thing. In the past I've gotten a delicious hummus recipe from Becka which is now a favourite. And yes, quality control soon confirmed not long after the first batch came out of the oven, these cookies do not about disappoint! Yummo Becka, you've done it again!!
Since this was a bit last minute I didn't have anything to package the cookies in. While wondering what to do, I remembered a fantastic tutorial by How About Orange on how to turn an envelope into a goodie bag. Problem solved. Not bad for a daggy C4 office envelope!
* Edit: Visit was canceled due to bad weather across the state of Victoria. Cookies still made it to friends via the post and reports tell me they are being well received!
